The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, executing preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment as needed. The role involves hands-on work and collaboration with a skilled team to ensure the smooth operation of gas system projects.Key Responsibilities:·      Respond promptly to gas-related incidents and ensure leaks are stopped within target response times.·      Inspect PRMS, primary meter stations, and other key installations.·      Conduct quarterly leak surveys and maintain pipeline valves.·      Provide professional assistance to customers working near gas pipelines.·      Record monthly meter readings with photographic evidence and report malfunctions.Requirements:·      Diploma in Engineering with 3 years of experience, or technical certification with 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas Industry.·      A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.QualificationsProficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & RepairExperience in Preventive Maintenance techniquesStrong skills in Troubleshooting mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving skillsRelevant certifications or technical training in mechanical systemsExperience in gas systems is a plusGood communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols
