Important Notice: Candidates must have been residing in Portugal for a minimum of 18 months.SQL / PL/SQL Developer (Mid–Senior Level)Our client is offering an opportunity for development professionals with experience in SQL and PL/SQL who are interested in expanding their technical expertise and contributing to a large-scale international project within a multinational environment. This position is suited for individuals who enjoy working with databases, developing technical solutions, and continuously learning new technologies.Key RequirementsCandidates considered for this opportunity should demonstrate the following qualifications:Completion of higher education (mandatory).Proven development experience using multiple technologies.Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including the ability to write, interpret, and optimize database queries.Familiarity with programming paradigms, such as procedural or object-oriented programming.English proficiency at B2 level or higher.Candidates must have been residing in Portugal for a minimum of 18 months.For Senior-level professionals (approximately 4–5 years of experience), additional expectations include:Ability to act as a technical reference within the team.Experience supporting or mentoring junior developers.Participation in technical guidance and onboarding activities.Additional Valuable ExperienceThe following competencies are considered advantageous:Exposure to Core Banking systems.Experience with database design and modelling.Background working within Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum methodologies.Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.Curiosity and motivation to continue developing technical skills.Personal AttributesSuccessful Candidates Will DemonstrateA collaborative and team-oriented mindset.Independence and accountability in technical tasks.Positive attitude, curiosity, and openness to learning.Willingness to contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.Senior professionals are expected to provide guidance and coaching to less experienced colleagues, while lead-level candidates should be capable of playing a mentoring and onboarding role, serving as a reference point for the broader team.Work ArrangementThe role follows a hybrid working model based in Lisbon.During the first 3 to 6 months, team members are expected to work four days per week from the office. After this initial period, the schedule transitions to three days in the office and two days working remotely.Work ScheduleThe clients operate with two annual working schedules, which include 12 additional compensation days beyond standard vacation days.If you got this far you are committed!
