PL/SQL Developer

Undelucram.ro on behalf of:Evolve TodayFor our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are seeking a PL/SQL Developer to join their on-site team in Bucharest on a full-time basis.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing scripts and PL/SQL packages that power core applications. A strong understanding of Oracle environments is essential, and solid working knowledge of Oracle APEX is a must. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to improving the functionality and efficiency of our database solutions.If you’re passionate about database innovation and ready to work in a dynamic on-site environment in Bucharest, we’d love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.Collaborate with other developers and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into database solutions.Lead thorough testing and debugging of PL/SQL scripts to ensure robust applications.Monitor and optimize database performance through efficient schema design and indexing strategies.Assists in database design and suggests improvements to existing databases.Provides support and maintenance for existing applicationsDocument changes made under internal standards.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;Minimum 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer;Proven ability to write efficient and complex database queries and scriptsExperience with Oracle database technologies and toolsKnowledge of Oracle APEX is highly desiredCritical and analytical thinkingFocus on finding solutions and achieving the established resultTeam player with good verbal and written communication skills
