Therefore feel free to “try before you apply” by visiting our VI-P Guide, which includes our values, how we operate, how we build our packages, and a few other snippets of who we are!Your RoleAt Virtual Internships, we help students worldwide turn potential into opportunity.As a Placement Readiness Specialist, your mission is to coach and guide interns through the placement matching process with empathy, confidence and warmth.You’ll thrive here if you love seeing people grow, take pride in measurable impact, and find joy in helping others take their next professional step.This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where empathy meets accountability and coaching meets operations.This role will start as a 3-month full-time contract role, with potential to become long-term dependent on performance and business needs.What You’ll Be DoingCoaching interns by running mock interviews, giving actionable feedback, and helping them present their best selves.Deliver engaging bootcamp sessions and support interns in developing essential soft skills, and build workplace readiness.Guiding interns through key pre-internship moments by helping them prepare for interviews, make confident decisions, and manage expectations with calm, clear communication.Championing clarity by reinforcing program guidelines, simplifying complex choices, and ensuring every intern keeps moving forward with confidence, while feeling supported.Why You'll Love This RoleYou’ll see real impact: Every success story starts with you - a career launchpad. You move fast, but you don’t cut corners.If you’re passionate about helping people grow and love connecting ownership with empathy, we’d love to hear from you even if you don’t tick every box.Virtual Internships Perks and Benefits Remote-First: All roles at VI are currently and will remain remote - flexibility to work from anywhereFlexible Working Hours: Start earlier, leave earlier, take a shorter lunch, or leave later, it's totally up to you.Annual Leave: Wherever you are in the world, you’ll get 25 days of paid annual leave per year, plus bank holidays and 5 sick days.Life Event Leave: There are moments in life where your life responsibility is a higher priority than work (e.g. moving house, your best friend getting married, your sister having a baby) therefore, you’ll get 5 days of paid life-event leave to support these occasions. You also get a day off on your birthday.
