Job Description

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee large and complex clinical studies within a fast-paced life sciences technology environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring the successful delivery of clinical research projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical trial management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing global, cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing all phases of the project lifecycle including scope, budget, timeline, change control, and reportingDevelop and maintain detailed project plans covering timelines, communication, training, data transfer, and implementationLead project kick-off meetings and facilitate requirements gathering with customersEnsure all project team members and functional leads understand their responsibilities and project requirementsCoordinate internal resources and external vendors for smooth project executionMonitor project progress and deliver regular status updates to stakeholdersEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budgetDeliver presentations at Investigator Meetings demonstrating protocol understanding and platform usageConduct training sessions for site staff and clinical monitors as neededSupport business development activities including bid defense presentations when requiredAccurately communicate customer information to internal teams and ensure agreed-upon actions are followedMentor junior project managers or associatesPerform other duties to support overall project and organizational successQualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 4 years of clinical trials experience in a project management or related role within Clinical Research Sites, CROs, or eClinical service providersAt least 2 years of project management experience managing global projects and cross-functional teams, with sole responsibility for project deliveryProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working with data collection and management systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of software delivery lifecycles and project management methodologiesFamiliarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and applicable FDA regulationsPlease click ‘apply’ or contact David Rowland (Recruiter II) at Planet Pharma for more information: E: Drowland@planet-pharma.
