The role involves creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring that timelines, resources, and milestones are accurately tracked and communicated. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the shipbuilding or marine engineering sector.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS ProjectMonitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and recommend recovery actionsCoordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams to align project timelinesPrepare and update project planning documentation, including Gantt charts, S-curves, and progress reportsAssist in resource planning and allocation across multiple shipbuilding or repair projectsAnalyze performance metrics and report deviations from baseline plansSupport the Project Manager with data-driven insights and forecast adjustmentsParticipate in project review meetings and provide planning inputsRequirements:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field3-5 years of experience in project planning, ideally in shipbuilding or marine-related projectsProficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office SuiteSolid understanding of shipbuilding processes, project lifecycle, and scheduling principlesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines
