In this role, you will contribute to building the global demand planning process for one or more business lines in our Asian site, collaborating closely with our Asolo based Planning Team, as well as to optimise and develop the supply chain process to deliver perfect inventory levels, to meet customers’ demands whilst minimising costs.Main Responsibilities Forecast & Demand AnalysisYou will build a 6 – 12 month rolling forecasts across all product categories, including special editions, OEM lines and collections.You will support in consolidating input from sales, markets and key accounts to capture trends, upcoming launches and campaigns.You will analyse historical sales as well as market trends to refine your forecast accuracy, as well as identifying deviations and proposing alternative solutions.Moreover, you will also contribute to new-product introduction checkpoints (such as tracking go-live dates, sample availability etc).Planning Operations ExecutionYou will contribute to a 6 month rolling capacity plan (mid-term) aligning unconstrained demand with suppliers’ production limits and constraints.You will consider MOQs, lead times, tooling constraints and seasonal peaks so to prevent cost escalation and minimise surcharges.Moreover, you will challenge the demand plan when capacity costraints or costs risks arise, proposing corrective solutions.You will be a key person to provide visibility on bottlenecks, inefficiencies to handle exceptions and priority shifts, collaborating closing with varied stakeholders.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous ImprovementActing as a main point of contact for your assigned business line, you will foster communication between Planning, Quality Control, R&D, Product Merchandising and IT Departments on all operational topics.You will challenge “the way we’ve always done it” when it limits performance, bring forward new improvement ideas, methods and external best practices to improve availability and speed of response in the end-to-end supply chain.RequirementsA minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally within a Sporting Goods Manufacturing and/or Textile Manufacturing company.Strong skills on Data Analysis, KPI definition, trend analysis skills as well as root-cause investigation.Excellent knowledge of planning principles, forecasting techniques, production scheduling, as well as phase-in / phase-out management.Previous experience with ERP systems, SO99+, AS400, QlikView / Qlik Sense BI as well as advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic macros).Fluency in English – Fluency in another Asian language will be considered a plus.Other InformationLocation – Singapore (On site)
