Projekts is a specialized recruitment and consulting company and is proud to collaborate with over 600 clients, including (Fortune 500 companies), operating in more than 20 countries worldwide.You are seeking for an exciting challenge to grow, then hurry up and apply here !Our client is a global Tier 1 in the automotive industry and is looking for a Plant Lean manager, in rhineland palatinate area in Germany.The Plant Lean Manufacturing Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and embedding Lean culture across the plant to enhance performance, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. Working closely with the Plant Director and cross-functional leaders, this role leads the deployment of Lean principles, methodologies, and tools throughout all plant operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the Lean transformation roadmap in alignment with corporate industrial strategy and plant performance goals.Lead and support Lean projects , process optimization, and productivity improvement.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress in efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and delivery objectives.Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions, 5S programs, and problem-solving workshops across departments.Coach and develop teams at all levels to strengthen Lean mindset and capabilities within production, maintenance, logistics, and support functions.Drive cultural change by engaging employees in continuous improvement initiatives and promoting safety and quality excellence.Support the implementation of digital manufacturing tools and standardized management systems (visual management, Gemba walks, A3 thinking).Identify cost-saving opportunities and track results through structured project management and financial analysis.Interface with global Lean networks within the organization to ensure consistency, benchmarking, and best practice sharing.Qualifications and ExperienceEngineering degree or equivalent (Industrial, Mechanical, Production).Minimum 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years leading Lean or Continuous Improvement initiatives within the automotive sector.Proven experience in deploying Lean systems such as Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, SMED, and JIT.Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills using tools such as DMAIC, SPC, and FMEA.Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is highly desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and change management abilities.Fluency in English and German min B1
