Manpower also provides a range of staffing solutions, engagement, and consulting services worldwide.For one of our trusted international partners, we are currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of:PLANT MANAGERPurpose of the Role:The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading all departments within the production site in Bulgaria, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.This position plays a key role in transforming plant operations through modern manufacturing practices, lean methodologies, and effective leadership - ensuring efficiency, structure, and sustainable growth.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and delivery performance.Lead cross-functional teams across production, logistics, quality, purchasing, engineering, and maintenance.Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.Drive performance optimization and monitor key operational KPIs.Develop and execute workforce and capacity planning strategies aligned with business goals.Build and lead a high-performing plant management team.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.Drive change initiatives and ensure effective communication across all organizational levels.Lead with a hands-on, pragmatic, and results-driven leadership style.Oversee plant budgets, cost control, and investment planning.Ensure accurate and transparent financial and performance reporting.Manage customer projects, audits, and certifications (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001).Act as a key contact point for international customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and partnership.Qualifications & Requirements:University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.5+ years of proven leadership experience in a comparable role within metal processing (cutting, bending, grinding, welding), ideally in the automotive industry.Strong expertise in Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, and operational transformation.Solid understanding of budgeting, investment planning, and performance management.Experience working with international OEM customers and managing complex projects.Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards.Fluent in Bulgarian and English (both written and spoken).Entrepreneurial, forward-thinking mindset combined with strong ethics and integrity.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.Demonstrated ability to lead change and structure growth in dynamic industrial environments.The Company Offers:A long-term career opportunity within a well-established international organization.The chance to lead and shape the future of a major production site in Bulgaria.A strategic leadership role with direct impact on people, processes, and performance.Competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development in a global business environment.If you are a results-oriented leader ready to take on a transformational challenge — we’d be delighted to meet you.Please send your CV in English to explore this exciting opportunity.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
