Job Description
I. Position OverviewAs a key executor of the company's strategy within manufacturing, this role is fully responsible for the operational management of mass-production plants. The core objective is to lead the plant team to achieve KPIs in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency, meeting the requirements of both domestic and international customers. The ideal candidate must be a strategic and operationally capable manager who can drive continuous improvement, enhance the plant's core competitiveness, and accept global allocation to provide strong support for the group's global expansion strategy, particularly in non-China regions.II. Key Responsibilities & TasksOverall Operational Management:Develop and execute annual/quarterly operational plans, budgets, and production targets, with full P&L responsibility for the plant.Oversee the efficient daily operations of all plant functions, including manufacturing, engineering, quality control, supply chain management, warehousing and logistics, equipment maintenance, human resources, and administration.Optimize production processes and layouts, improve OEE, and maximize capacity to meet customer delivery requirements.Quality Systems & Standards:Serve as the primary person responsible for quality, ensuring strict adherence to the IATF 16949 quality management system standards across the manufacturing process.Promote the application of core quality tools such as APQP and PPAP to ensure quality control during mass production.Lead the resolution of major quality issues and customer complaints, organizing root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement:Lead cost control initiatives, leveraging lean manufacturing, value stream analysis, and other methods to continuously reduce manufacturing costs, material waste, and overhead expenses.Monitor and analyze operational costs, developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement to achieve financial budget goals.Customer Relations & Supply Chain Management:Serve as one of the primary points of contact for key customers, maintaining strong relationships and accurately understanding and fulfilling their needs.Manage relationships with critical suppliers to ensure stable and quality supply of raw materials and outsourced components.Team Building & Talent Development:Lead, motivate, and develop the plant management team and all employees, fostering a high-performance culture centered on continuous improvement.Oversee talent pipeline development, key talent cultivation, and employee capability enhancement at the plant level.Safety & Environment:Ensure full compliance with national and local safety production, environmental protection, and occupational health regulations. Promote a "zero-accident" safety culture and prevent major safety incidents and environmental issues.Non-China Project Support:Provide critical guidance and support for the establishment of new plants (especially non-China plants), including team formation, system transfer, and initial operations.III. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Polymer Materials, Automation, etc.) or a related field.Experience: 10+ years of manufacturing management experience in the automotive parts industry, including at least 5 years as a fully responsible Plant General Manager or equivalent role.Background: Strong expertise in automotive exterior parts (e.g., bumpers, grilles, side sills, spoilers) and familiarity with processes such as large-scale injection molding, painting, plating, and assembly.Knowledge: In-depth understanding and practical experience with IATF 16949 systems, along with familiarity with OEM audit processes and requirements.Language: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to use English as a working language for meetings, reports, emails, and seamless communication with international clients/teams.Mobility: Willingness to accept global rotations and mobility assignments.IV.
