A family-owned Group serving customers globally, Roquette is a leader in speciality food ingredients and pharmaceutical excipents.The products and solutions developed by the Group deliver proven technological, nutritional and health benefits precisely tailored to the pharma, nutrition, food and selected industry markets.Roquette's offer is produced from plant-based raw materials such as corn, wheat, potatoes and peas.Since its foundation over 80 years ago, the Group's growth has been based on innovation, a passion for the job and a commitment to achieve.Roquette is a family-owned global leader in plant-based ingredients and a leading provider of pharmaceutical excipients.Want to help us make a difference?Using plant-based resources, we collaborate with our customers and partners to imagine and offer ingredients to better feed people and treat patients.Each of our ingredients responds to unique and essential needs, and they enable healthier lifestyles.You will be responsible for:Oversee Plant Operations: Ensure smooth and efficient functioning across all departments, optimizing processes for maximum production output.Implement the Quality, HSE & Financial policies established by the Corporate functions, ensuring effective coordination with all departments within the plant.Ensure compliance with regulations in terms of social law, labor law, health, safety, hygiene, environment, food safety and pharmaceutical requirementsManage operational activities to meet the needs of the plant’s customers by executing production plans in compliance with quality standards, deadlines, and quantity requirementsImplement manufacturing transformation across all areas to enhance the plant’s mid-term competitiveness.Ensure the consolidation and prioritization of the plant’s short- and mid-term priorities and activities across all functions (including finance, HR, Quality and procurement)Ensure, either directly or through delegation, the representation of the company in relation to social partners and local authorities.Your main activities will be:Carry out the production plan of the operating unit or site by managing and optimizing the resources made available Analyse, propose and implement the necessary changes to optimize operating costs, quality, safety and environmental protectionManage crisis situations and conduct emergency operations when necessaryManage the Plant budget and adapt OPEX and CAPEX to maintain/improve plant competitiveness.Propose investments, as well as structural and organizational changes, that could improve the performance of the site or Business Unit and implement the investment programs approved by the Board of Directors.Know, respect and ensure adherence with the safety procedures, quality standards, food safety, hygiene, the environment and human resources management, and act as the guarantor of them. Manage and develop direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and professional development.Track and communicate site or business unit KPIs.
