Plant Manager – (pharma / device / specialty chemical industry) High Growth | Highly Visible Leadership Role | On-the-Floor Presence RequiredA global leader is expanding U.S. production and seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily operations in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for ensuring production reliability, product quality, regulatory compliance, and team development. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, drives operational excellence, and leads with passion and accountability.What You’ll LeadDay-to-day plant operations ensuring safety, quality, throughput, and uptimeCleanroom / controlled manufacturing processes: compounding, dissolution, filling/packaging, sanitationWorkforce planning, shift leadership, standard work, and production schedulingQuality & compliance: QMS adherence, batch records, CAPA, deviations, audits/inspectionsPerformance improvement: Lean/CI, SPC, DoE, waste reduction, automation/digital adoptionPlant KPIs, budgeting, and cross-functional alignment with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering & FinanceLeadership presence: 70–80% on the floor, coaching supervisors/operators and removing barriersWhat You BringBS/MS in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or related field10+ years in regulated manufacturing (pharma, device, biotech, or high-purity chemicals)5+ years leading operations in clean/controlled environmentsStrong experience with ISO 13485 / FDA QSR/QMS systems and audit readinessSolid Lean/CI foundation (SPC, DoE, validation, standardized work, 5S)Proven ability to lead teams, drive culture, and manage plant-level performanceExperience supporting capital projects, scale-ups or expansion projects is a strong plusResumes forward in MS Word are appreciated.
