We have a dedicated team of people working across our various North London sites, making a positive difference to the environment and the local community.By processing household waste at our facility, we produce enough waste from energy to power 80,000 homes every year and recycle 70% of items through our Reuse and Recycling Centres.About the roleA new vacancy has become available as Plant Operator at LondonEnergy based at the EcoPark in Edmonton.In this role, you will be responsible for operating cranes, managing ash discharge and handling equipment and notifying Shift Manager of any defects as they arise. This is a Monday - Friday day shift position. ResponsibilitiesMaintaining an accurate log and readings of all plant under their control and completing relevant check sheets Carrying out all operations to ensure maximum throughput of waste and production of electricity Monitoring bunker stocks and crane operations when in auto control and controlling cranes as required from CCR and from time to time crane cab Acting upon alarms.
