Fratelli is looking for a Plant Process Technologist for the Pedrignano Plant. The position will report hierarchically to the Quality & Technology Associate Director.ObjectiveEnsure continuous compliance with finished product standards in line with Quality and Safety regulationsManage and guarantee ongoing process optimization to improve finished product quality and production line efficiencyPromote a culture of quality by involving and training plant personnel through dedicated activitiesKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify areas for improvement in the production process to optimize product quality and create technological standards in synergy with Product Development / IndustrializationEnsure proper diagnostic processes are carried out for the most frequent consumer reports concerning technological aspectsAnalyze product hold notes related to quality issues linked to technology, verifying the process to identify root causes and minimize product blocks by managing cross-functional working groupsPromote a culture of technological processes by involving and training plant personnel through dedicated activities (sharing hold notes, tastings, anomalies, and non-conformities)Detect drifts and/or anomalies from raw materials already in production, define the root cause analysis, and collaborate with other relevant functions to restore standard conditionsSupervise and maintain technological process sheetsPerform periodic checks of the production process using appropriate instruments (data logger, data trace, anemometer, etc.)Control, manage, and test molds and diesCarry out operational checks and controls on standard process parametersSupport R&D, Industrialization, and Continuous Improvement in technological trialsCoordinate production line restarts after maintenance shutdowns in collaboration with the technical areaAssess line capabilitiesTake part in the design phases of new products or the improvement of existing ones, following industrialization steps and progressively taking responsibility for process managementRequirementsMaster’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields3–5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in production plants or R&DQ areasTraining in lean / Six Sigma methodologies is an assetStrong teamwork skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyResults-orientedProject management skillsFluency in Italian and good level of EnglishAnalytical skillsProblem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize effectivelyInformationPermanent contractLocation: ParmaStarting date: January 2026At Barilla, we are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace where diversity in all its forms is valued and embraced.
