Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for:Platform Delivery Manager – Associate Manager Job location: onsite in RiyadhRole OverviewResponsible for the end-to-end platform delivery within a single strategic account, ensuring operational excellence, technical leadership, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong expertise in Linux (optional AIX), Windows Server, enterprise storage, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms, with additional value placed on experience with OpenShiftKey ResponsibilitiesPlatform Ownership & DeliveryAct as the primary point of contact for platform services within the account, ensuring consistent delivery and alignment with customer expectationsLead coordination across infrastructure towers including compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud services to ensure seamless operationsDrive integration and optimization of platform-related processes across delivery teams and customer stakeholdersTechnical LeadershipOversee platform operations with a focus on Linux systems administration, Windows Server, storage infrastructure (EMC, etc.), virtualization technologies (VMware), and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP)Ensure services are delivered in accordance with Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), following ITIL/ITSM standardsSupport and lead platform-related change management and transformation projects, including migrations, upgrades, and cloud adoptionResource & Capacity PlanningCollaborate with delivery leads to identify and allocate technical resources for platform operations and initiativesConduct capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational overheadProcess OptimizationContinuously assess and improve platform delivery processes to enhance scalability, reliability, and customer satisfactionSupport planning and execution of work migration and platform consolidation efforts within the accountStakeholder EngagementParticipate in operational and steering committee meetings with account stakeholdersMaintain strong communication with Account Delivery Managers (ADM), Client Managers, and Service Executives to align platform strategy with business goalsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree is a plus)8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or platform management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role3+ years in outsourcing or managed services environments, preferably within a single-account delivery modelTechnical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Linux systems (e.g., Red Hat); AIX knowledge is a plusExperience with Windows Server administration and integrationSolid understanding of enterprise storage technologies (EMC, etc.)Proficiency in virtualization platforms, especially VMwareExperience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP) including IaaS and platform servicesFamiliarity with infrastructure operations, service desk processes, and ITIL frameworksExperience with OpenShift is a plusSoft SkillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong customer and service orientationFluent in English (oral and written)Certifications (Preferred)Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalentVMware Certified Professional (VCP)Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Google Cloud Certified: Associate Cloud EngineerITIL Foundation or higherCompTIA Server+, Cloud+, or similarAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
