Your missionAs a Platform Engineer – Data Science, you help shape and scale our infrastructure to support cutting-edge AI and ML applications. You ensure that our platforms are robust, scalable, and automated, and enjoy collaborating across teams to drive innovation.Maintain and enhance data science infrastructure for scalability and performanceManage deployments in Kubernetes with ArgoCD, focusing on automation and reliabilityAutomate ML workflows using tools like Argo WorkflowsDeploy and optimize large-scale ML models (e.g., LLMs) with Ray, vLLM, or TritonDesign and implement monitoring solutions with Grafana and PrometheusCollaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to improve MLOps workflowsContinuously explore new technologies and contribute to team knowledgeYour Skills And QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, or a related technical field3+ years of experience in MLOps, ML engineering, or platform engineeringStrong skills in Python and proficiency in at least one additional language (Java, Go, or TypeScript)Solid understanding of ML architectures (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, RNNs, encoder-decoder models) and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch), including the challenges of deploying them at scale (memory management, inference optimization, batching strategies, GPU utilization)Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationHands-on experience with ArgoCD for GitOps and CI/CDExperience with cloud environments, preferably AzureFamiliarity with workflow orchestration (Argo Workflows) and distributed computing (Ray)Understanding of ML model deployment and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)Experience working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools)Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learnVery good English skills (written and spoken)We offer youCooperative, appreciative and respectful cultureInternational context with global playersProfessional onboarding: Personal training plan and mentoringIndividual development and career opportunities (MIC Academy)Employee bonus and varios benefitsCompensationWe are legally obliged to mention the compensation for this position. We offer a minimum salary of € 60.000,- gross/ year (fulltime employment). We offer a higher salary in line with your qualifications and experience.
