Platform Engineer Remote (Australia – Sydney Based) Lumonus is strengthening the cloud platform that powers our oncology workflow products, and we’re hiring a Mid-Level Platform Engineer (4-5 years experience)  to help support and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure. This role suits someone hands-on, curious, and eager to grow in cloud engineering, automation, and platform reliability. What You’ll Do Operate and improve our AWS environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance. Build and maintain Terraform modules, automation scripts, and CI workflows. Support deployments across environments and help diagnose platform-level issues. Contribute to platform design discussions and refine infrastructure patterns. Improve observability, monitoring, and platform tooling used by engineering teams. Work closely with Software Engineering and Platform squads on operational and reliability improvements.  What You’ll Bring ~4+ years of experience in cloud or platform engineering ideally in AWS. Solid experience with AWS services, Terraform, Linux, and containers (ECS/Fargate/K8s). Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and comfort working with CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions preferred). Understanding of networking fundamentals, IAM, security best practices, and monitoring tools. Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex infrastructure or deployment issues. Clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers and product teams. A mindset for automation, reliability, and continual improvement.  Why Lumonus Lumonus builds software relied on by oncology care teams , a reliable platform for our products matters. We’ve recently completed our Series B, and we’re entering an exciting phase of growth as we scale our platform and expand globally. You’ll join a friendly, low-ego engineering culture where people support each other, communicate openly, and solve real problems with practical thinking. We’re a remote-first team, but we stay closely connected and get together in person for annual (and often more frequent) company meetups.
