As a PLC Commissioning Engineer, you will be working for a global intralogistics business who specialise in the design and development of highly automated solutions that enable customers to meet their logistics & supply chain needs. You will have the opportunity to commission control systems that interface with state-of-the-art machinery.You will be responsible for completing PLC commissioning and programming on Siemens PLCs for customers distribution/manufacturing warehouses.You will also spend most of the year traveling across Europe and the United States of America.Salary & BenefitsCompetitive salary according to experienceMonthly allowance payment of up to €1000Additional paid project bonuses6 months training at company headquarters in AustriaPension, insurances & ongoing trainingPLC Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:Understanding project requirements to create PLC programs using Siemens that will control automated machinery in warehouses.You will spend most of your time working abroad directly on customer sites to complete the installation and commissioning phase of the project.Whilst on site, you will support the customer by leading on the testing/configuration stage and providing the necessary training to staff.You will be required to communicate internally and externally, working with internal departments at all stages of the project to ensure successful delivery to the customer.Experience & requirements for the role:Programming and commissioning experience of Siemens PLCsKnowledge of Electrical EngineeringAbility to work in collaboration with internal and external project teamsAbility to speak English with technical conversations as a minimum, being able to speak German is also advantageousHold a valid driver’s licenceWilling to travel globallyTXM Recruit is an equal opportunities employer.
