PLC Engineer

Major customers include renowned airports and airlines around the globe.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Engineer (1st-level) for PLC Controls, Automation in shiftTechnical support to the site O&M team for troubleshootingInitiative in continuous improvement of projectConsistent monitoring of SLAs and implement improvement measuresDeveloping and installing program updates using automation software and custom coding languagesTroubleshooting system errorsDocumenting development processesCollaborate with 2nd-level engineersRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Electronics Engineering or similar field with at least five (5) years' experienceAt least three (3) years' solid experience in the PLC control system on programming support and system trouble shootingExtensive knowledge of PLC programming (Step 7 / TIA portal)Extensive knowledge of Siemens PLCs and associated productsKnowledge of control panel components and drivesKnowledge of SCADA, DCS and plant visualization systemsKnowledge of implementing and following standard Operation and Maintenance proceduresExperience in Interfaces like PLC - IT, Other analog and Digital InterfacesExperience in maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC systemsExperience in Baggage or other Material Handling Systems is an advantageWell-familiar with local and international StandardsGood communication skills in English and Thai languageCan work on own initiative and within a team in shiftsAnalytical skillsProblem solving attitude, flexibility, fast learning
