We are currently seeking an Artist in our Pleasure Beach Studios department, to help with the upkeep and creation of scenery, props and features. The work can vary from fabricating new scenes and props within our scenic rides to the refurbishment and maintenance of decorative features for shows and events.
Alongside the rest of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the presentation of the park and its attractions are maintained to the highest standards via our winter and summer work programmes. Candidates selected for interview will be asked to provide a link to their portfolio/pictures of their previous work – or to bring printed versions to their interview. *Personal specification* Self-motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Ability to prioritise and manage own workload. Be able to work effectively even with short-term deadlines. Ability to think logically, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Be able to communicate clearly in writing and orally to management when required. Willingness to undertake staff training and development as required. Flexible with time and able to work weekends/bank holidays as and when required.
