About the Role:
This role will focus on both leading the Specification strategy for NZPM and our Own Brand strategy within the Plumbing World network. You will be managing a team of Territory Managers and Specification Representatives to develop and execute sales plans, also working closely with Category & Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency in sales messaging and tactics. The development of close relationships and trusting partnerships within the specification community, including architects, designers, and specifiers, to ensure that NZPM own brands are the preferred choice for kitchen and bathroom products in the market.

Ensuring that sales activities align with overall marketing and business strategies: Working closely with other departments, such as category and operations, to ensure that sales activities support the overall business objectives. Skills And Experience5+ years’ experience in a Specification role5+ years’ experience in sales managementTertiary qualifications in Sales or Business Management preferred, or previous experience within the industryProven client relationship skills with sales that are measurable by success for all partiesAbility to analyse and interpret complex information of a category management natureExcellent analytical skills, supported by a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and high work outputExperience within the Plumbing/Building Industry is preferredDemonstrated experience working with the specification community, including Architects, Designer's and SpecifiersExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to build strong relationshipsWell-developed influencing and negotiation skillsSound strategic ability and commercial awarenessEffective planning and organising skills; ability to handle multiple tasks / dutiesInclusion + DiversityResearch shows that some individuals, particularly women and underrepresented groups, are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single criterion.
