The role: We want you | e hiahia ana matou ki a koeWe have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our Northern Sales team, based in West Auckland. This dynamic role focuses on both managing existing accounts and developing new client relationships. We are looking for someone with a strong track record in sales (3+ years), ideally within plumbing, technical sales, or the broader building industry. You will bring a blend of relationship-building skills and a true hunter mentality—resilient, driven, and never satisfied with second place.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include: Acquiring new customers and building a strong sales pipelineMaintaining and growing existing accountsImplementing strategic growth initiativesDelivering consistently high levels of customer serviceIf you thrive on challenge, love winning new business, and know how to make customers feel valued, we would love to hear from you.

Some Of The Things You Will Be DoingBuilding relationships with our customers to better understand their unique business needsExecute the Plumbing World brand professionally, drive sales, and ensure best practiceAchievement of sales targets in line with KPI’sExcellent execution of brand activity within accounts and engagement with key clientsReach and exceed sales targets for Plumbing World products and drive salesProspecting and growing Plumbing World’s sales and marginMaintaining regular and efficient service to customers in your territory & beyondStriving for constant improvement in knowledge, service, technical know-how, efficiency, and genuine behaviour while adding value to Plumbing World and your customers' businessesTroubleshoot on site with customers, ensuring a seamless customer experiencePreparing quotes and tenders in accordance with the company's sales and pricing policySupporting the Branch Manager & team to deliver a high level of customer experienceKey role requirements will include:

Account management and planningIdentifying additional development and engaging directly with relevant stakeholdersLead, develop, and manage stakeholder relationshipsDevelopment of customer contact strategiesEnsuring business plans support and align with existing and future contractsDeliver commercially viable sales plans in line with the overall company sales strategyWork with inside sales and other branch staff to meet customer needsNZ Full driver’s licenceThe successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test prior to the commencement of employment.
