OverviewWe are currently hriing a number of Contracts Administrator's for a large scale Construction project in Mons, Belgium. We have a multi-discipline team who deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and food and beverage sectors. We are continually looking for experienced professionals to join our team. ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract responsibilities would include:

Preparing capital cost estimatesAdvising building economicsProducing lifecycle cost estimatesAdvising tendering procedures and contract arrangementsDrafting contract packages including advice on amendments to standard formsPreparing pricing documents for tender packagesDuring the tendering phase responsibilities would include: Providing advice on tendering proceduresDrafting instructions to tenderersDeveloping tender evaluation criteriaDrafting PQQ questionnairesHandling queries during tender periodCommercial evaluation of all tender submissionsNegotiation with tenderersPost Contract duties would include:

Valuing progress on site for interim certificatesAscertainment of amounts due to contractors for price variationValuing proposed instructionsDrafting responses to contractors’ correspondenceDetermination of amounts of claimsExpediting contractors’ insurances, bonds and collateral warranties; and valuating contractors’ final accountsQualificationsBachelor or Master degree in Quantity Surveying or similar required. Extensive multi-sectoral experienceLife-science, mission critical and industrial experience welcome.

Ability to work on complex issues and report in a clear and concise mannerMinimum of 10 years' experience carrying out pre and post contract dutiesExcellent organisational skills with an ability to produce accurate work to project deadlinesExcellent reporting and communication skillsWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
