PMO Director - Finance Transformation

We have partnered with a diversified group to appoint a PMO Director who will lead enterprise-wide Finance Transformation initiatives.This is a senior strategic role responsible for driving governance, performance, and transformation across finance operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong consulting background, with hands-on experience in process optimisation, audit, controls, and performance management within complex organisations.About the role:You will establish and lead the PMO function that governs and executes the group's Finance Transformation roadmap, ensuring all programmes are aligned to strategic objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes.You will:Define the overall finance transformation governance model, standards, and reporting structure.Oversee delivery of multiple transformation projects covering systems, processes, and operating models.Drive performance metrics and continuous improvement across finance functions.Lead the implementation of audit, risk, and control frameworks to strengthen financial governance.Partner with Finance, Technology, and Strategy leaders to ensure initiatives deliver tangible ROI.Manage project portfolios, budgets, and delivery timelines across multiple business units.Build capability within the PMO, ensuring robust processes for planning, prioritisation, and execution.About you:15+ years of experience in programme or PMO leadership roles, with a strong focus on finance transformation.A background in management consulting or advisory, delivering transformation across finance and corporate functions.Deep understanding of financial processes, controls, audit frameworks, and performance metrics.Proven success leading multi-project portfolios within complex or diversified organisations.Exceptional stakeholder management, governance, and communication skills.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define KPIs, track benefits, and measure impact.A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
