The Data Entry Representative supports our Sales and Customer Service teams with delivering exceptional customer service by performing accurate and timely data entry for quote preparation, order, and web order processing. The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established processes. Accurate, consistent work output is essential and requires patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. The job environment is stable so that job routines can be completed on time and error-free. Key Responsibilities and other duties as assigned:
Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while processing a high volume of quotes and orders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring minimal errors and timely completion. Utilizes software including the ERP system (inventory management and order entry system) and Microsoft Office products. Maintains acceptable error ratios for all data entry. Communicates with customers via email to confirm order details, respond to product-related inquiries, and provide solution-focused support to ensure a positive customer experience. Works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Accounting and the Distribution Center teams to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Maintains confidentiality of Pocket Nurse proprietary business and customer information. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (G. E. D. ) and 1 year of related experience or a combination of 3 years of equivalent education and experience. Skills and Experience: Strong keying experience including speed and accuracy skills. ERP or order entry software experience a plus. Basic skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Quality-driven individual with a high attention to detail. Strong reading comprehension. Ability to use critical thinking skills to identify potential concerns.
Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Collaborates well with all levels of the organization.
