The opportunityWe're currently looking for a Finance & Admin support. Someone to join our Norwegian team in order to enable us to deliver at peak performance. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to be part of the change we know is needed. This position is located at Fornebu, Norway, and at the office is where we collaborate best. The finance team is a small and critical function to support the business and consists of two other members today, one Senior Business Controller and one Junior Business controller.
You will be reporting to our Senior Business Controller. This is a temporary role with a current end date on 2026-09-30, but there is a possibility of extension. The ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll be expected to be the solid support character to both local colleagues and a few other stakeholders. Working as a member of our finance team, you'll be instrumental in delivering a nice working environment and robust process support. You will be supporting the organization to navigate Procurement, Finance, and HR processes. Below is a breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:
HR Processes include processes such as recruitment, hire admin tasks, updating information for employee on our intranet pages about compensation & benefits, leave etcFinance and procurement support covers purchase order creation, setting up suppliers, as well as invoice validation and approvalOffice management responsibilityEnabling processing of incoming invoices by the accounting teamStructuring and implementing continuous improvements of our ways of workingThe ideal candidateIn order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. In Addition, You'll Need The Following QualificationsAn education within Finance, Business administration, HR or equivalent is advantageousSeveral years of experience in a similar role is equally valuable, regardless of education. Fluency in both Norwegian and English, to be comfortable working in our multi-cultural contextSolid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly our basic work tools Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
