We support the Director-General and Minister on a diverse range of issues, including economic empowerment for women and Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the national agreement to close the gap in life outcomes for First Nations people, intergovernmental relations, and development of programs and reforms that impact the lives of women and First Nations people. We work closely with other areas of our department and with agencies at the state and national level to improve the lives, rights and wellbeing of women and girls in Queensland and to design and deliver policies, programs and services that achieve better life outcomes for First Nations Queenslanders.
