Head of RTW (North America)Based in New York ShowroomReporting to Head of North AmericaKey Role Objectives: Managing a team· Manage and grow wholesale accounts in the occasion market, with a focus on department stores. · Achieve and exceed seasonal sales targets per brand and division for North America. · Build new and manage existing relationships with clients while providing them with excellent service. · Identify and build strong strategic relationships with key wholesale customers.
· Own and close the seasonal order book with a high level of detail and accuracy, ensuring all orders are finalized and submitted in a timely manner. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of account needs, sell-through, and performance to ensure accurate forecasting and planning. · Conduct and lead sales appointments for major accounts, and ensure all sales team are maximising opportunities in each appointment. · Prepare detailed sales reports, order forms, and account recaps using advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas). · Compile and share selling reports with the brand team to inform product performance, market feedback, and future development.
Communicate regularly with accounts on order confirmations, order changes, delivery status, and reorders. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, finance and production to ensure timely deliveries and smooth account servicing. Track sales goals and proactively identify opportunities for growth or replenishment. Monitor competitor and market trends to support strategic positioning. Qualifications: - 3–4 years of wholesale fashion experience, preferably in the occasion category. - Strong existing relationships with buyers and key accounts in the occasion space. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (must be comfortable with pivot tables, vlookups, and large data sets). - Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple priorities. - Previous management experience necessary- Experience using wholesale platforms like NuOrder, Joor, or similar is a plus. - East coast based – potential travel required
