This role involves developing sophisticated financial models, conducting in-depth data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making in shipping, logistics, ports, and related industries.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, consolidate, and analyze financial, operational, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic planning.Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management on improving efficiency, profitability, and market competitiveness.Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial teams to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.Monitor industry trends, competitor performance, and regulatory developments relevant to shipping, logistics, ports, and mining industries.Prepare and present high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.Proven experience in business analysis, financial modelling, or data analysis roles.Very strong financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and financial modelling software.Strong business acumen with exposure to shipping, logistics, ports, or mining industries preferred.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.High level of attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and proactive approach to work.
