Your day may include:Moving equipment, resources, materials, and supplies safely and efficientlySupporting the collection, movement, and delivery of mail across campusAssisting with deliveries of stock and equipmentSetting up rooms, furniture and equipment for classes, meetings, and eventsHelping to prepare spaces and resources for University events and activitiesKeeping internal and external areas tidy, safe, and welcomingSupporting waste collection and removalProviding friendly, professional customer service at all timesTaking ownership of tasks, understanding client needs, and championing Sodexo valuesWorking closely with colleagues to create a positive, high-performing teamFollowing all Health & Safety and COSHH processesCompleting any reasonable ad hoc duties as required Every task you complete enhances the University experience and contributes to a clean, organised and efficient campus environment.What You BringCustomer-focused, friendly, and able to build strong working relationshipsA confident communicator who can think on their feet and offer practical solutionsSelf-motivated, adaptable, and proactive when working alone or as part of a teamComfortable monitoring performance and using initiative to improve outcomesResilient when handling challenging situationsCompetent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Able to support out-of-hours emergencies when neededExperienced with commercial vehicles, including Luton vansCapable of influencing positive change and contributing to team successWhat We OfferWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
