The company operates a growing portfolio of thousands of student beds and residential apartments across major UK cities, with expansion interests in Europe.Role OverviewThis Portfolio Analyst position sits within the Finance/Asset Management team and offers exposure to portfolio performance analysis, investment analysis, and strategic planning within a data-driven real estate platform.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyse the residential portfolio performance across BTR and PBSA assetsPrepare portfolio performance reports tracking KPIs (occupancy, rental growth, operating costs, NOI)Maintain financial models and dashboards for performance monitoring and forecastingSupport investment transactions, refinancing, underwriting, and due diligence processesDeliver investor and lender reporting with accuracy and insightCollaborate across asset management, finance, and operations teamsConduct market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysisContribute to annual business planning, quarterly reporting, and board materialsIdeal Candidate2+ years' experience in real estate, investment management, corporate finance, or analytical rolesStrong financial modelling and Excel skills (Power BI experience advantageous)Understanding of investment metrics and portfolio reportingExposure to real estate valuation or debt processes desirableDegree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field advantageousExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and numeracyStrong communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholdersProactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple prioritiesWhat's OfferedHigh-growth platform with institutional backingExposure across BTR and PBSA sectors (UK and Europe)Entrepreneurial culture with flat structure and senior management accessCompetitive compensationHybrid working potential
