Portfolio Management Head

We are hiring for a Portfolio Management Head who will lead and drive the local equities investment strategy for a top-tier investment management organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of equity investment strategies to deliver consistent outperformance versus benchmarks and peers.Manage a team of portfolio managers, analysts, and traders to ensure high-quality research, timely implementation, and portfolio alignment with the firms house view.Oversee equity research coverage across macroeconomic, sectoral, and individual company levels to generate actionable insights.Drive portfolio management decisions (strategic and tactical) and ensure compliance with investment and regulatory standards.Collaborate with operations, finance, compliance, and marketing teams to support product development, regulatory changes, and fund management initiatives.Represent the organization in investment briefings and industry events, providing expert market insights to internal and external stakeholders.Support sales and marketing initiatives by providing investment perspectives and participating in client and market presentations.QualificationsAt least 10 years of solid experience in equities portfolio management and/or investment research within the financial services industry.Strong background in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and performance management.Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.Masters degree (MBA) and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.Demonstrated leadership experience managing investment teams.Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and clients.Deep understanding of Philippine capital markets, investment regulations, and risk management principles.
