The firm is deeply committed to responsible investing and sustainability, aligning its strategies with global best practices.Your New RoleAs Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, you will co-manage approximately $800M in Canadian fixed income assets on behalf of institutional and private clients. This is a succession-driven opportunity with a planned retirement, providing valuable overlap for training and knowledge transfer. You will be directly accountable for credit analysis, security selection, yield curve positioning, and duration management, ensuring portfolios deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns relative to benchmarks. In this hands-on role, you will execute trades, oversee day-to-day risk management, and represent the firm in meetings with pension funds, foundations, and other stakeholders. Collaborating closely within a small, high-trust investment team, you will contribute to weekly discussions, cross-asset allocation decisions, and the continued refinement of the firm’s disciplined investment process.What Sets You ApartYou are an experienced fixed income investor with 3–7+ years of buy-side expertise gained in an asset management, insurance, or pension environment. You are either registered or eligible for registration as a Portfolio Manager – Advising Representative with the OSC, with the CFA designation strongly preferred. You bring proven experience in credit analysis, curve positioning, and hands-on trade execution, along with advanced Excel modelling skills and working knowledge of Bloomberg and PC Bond.
