We are seeking an experienced Post-Production Lead to join the Reality Labs Entertainment team to help manage third party productions from a post perspective. In this key role, you will drive integrated post-production across a broad, video-focused portfolio—Video On Demand, broadcast and cutting-edge experimental projects. The Post-Production Lead will act as a key point of contact for both external and internal partners, tracking and organizing vital post information and workflows from pre-production through post & wrap, as well as contributing to ongoing internal projects with cross-departmental teams at Meta. This is an exciting and demanding opportunity for a professional with a strategic mind, technical mastery, bias towards action, and a demonstrated commitment for elevating creative storytelling through industry-leading post-production.Post-Production Lead Responsibilities:Drive strategic approach and execution for post-production workflows across multiple, concurrent high-impact projects, setting standards for the broader organizationIntegrated Post-Production Leadership: Guide delivery of seamless, high-quality output for VOD, broadcast and experimental initiativesTrack and coordinate all post schedules, keeping things up-to-date and well-communicatedLead post-production calls and meetings as neededManage a team of post-production executives, who will act as POCs for both internal and external post teams from pitch to deliveryManage review processes for internal Creative Execs, including setting up key creative approval sessions when necessaryWorkflow & System Enhancement: Define requirements for media asset management tools for efficient organization, retrieval, and utilizationBest Practices & Organization: Develop and maintain structured asset management processes, including standardized naming conventions and operational best practices and communicate changes to external stakeholdersCross-Team Collaboration: Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to enforce media specs, project timelines, and drive effective coordinationPost Production Tooling Expertise: Support creation and optimization of content leveraging standard tooling from Adobe, Blackmagic, Foundry, SGO, and othersProcess Automation & Optimization: Design and improve scalable, multi-team workflows utilizing digital tools to boost productivity and minimize manual tasksCreative Asset Management & Optimization: Lead adaptation of creative assets for multilingual and audience-specific needsensure consistency and quality across platformsMaintain Ongoing Expertise: Keep up to date with Meta and industry-standard tools, tech specs, and technologiesMinimum Qualifications:10+ years of experience with Scripted/Unscripted/Live Events post-production in either a Post Production Supervisor or similar managerial roleExperience in a deadline-focused environment, overseeing several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery)Knowledge of current trends and workflows for high resolution content (4K-8K+), Dolby Vision/HDR, Dolby Atmos/spatial audioKnowledge of video and audio codecs and hands-on experience editing and transcoding content to specificationsFamiliar with professional-grade camera formats and post production tools used during editorial, online, grading, and sound post workflowsAdvanced proficiency with industry-standard post-production and reviews tools, including Frame.ioDemonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing workflows for VOD, broadcast, and experimental content formatsExperience architecting scalable hardware and infrastructure solutions to support high-throughput post-production pipelinesDemonstrated background in media asset management systems and workflow automation toolsProven organizational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated experience identifying issues and setting standards and best practices for large teamsDemonstrated experience in mentoring and leading peers, driving technical and creative best practices across the organization while exercising judgment and communication during times of ambiguityPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with stereoscopic video and immersive video formats such as VR180 in monoscopic and stereoscopicAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
