Post‑Sales Application Engineer – Technical Support Center

We at Rohde & Schwarz are expanding our footprint within our technical support center in Bucharest. There, we work with a wide range of RF and microwave applications and support customers across Europe mainly. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a hands‑on Post‑Sales Application Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering great customer support. As a Post‑Sales Application Engineer you will be the first technical point of contact for customers using our RF spectrum analyzers and RF signal generators. You’ll provide expert support both remotely and onsite, collaborate closely with product teams to share customer feedback and help to improve our products continuously. Finally, you will exchange with local application engineering teams to raise the bar on support quality to the next level.Your tasksProvide technical support to customers on RF spectrum analyzers and RF signal generators, troubleshooting measurement and help at instrument issues.Deliver support remotely and travel to customer sites when needed.Gather and convey technical feedback and customer requirements to our product groups to help shape future releases and improvements.Collaborate with local application engineers and support teams to share knowledge, create application collaterals and improve support processes.Assist customers with remote control and example scripts and provide solutions expertise.Your QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent).Excellent communication skills for working with international customers.Very good spoken and written English and one other European language is an advantageProgramming skills (Python preferred) to support remote control and automation of instruments.Strong customer orientation and a high level of service mindset.Several years’ experience in test & measurement, RF instrumentation, or related fields is a strong advantage.Interested?We are looking forward to receiving your application!
