Power BI Consultant

Location: Brussels – Must be able to work 5 days per week on siteSecurity Clearance: Must hold a NATO SECRET Security ClearanceStart Date: Mid-NovemberWe have partnered with a prestigious consultancy firm seeking a highly skilled individual to support the implementation, service operations, development, and training of Microsoft Power BI solutions. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment, working on both on-premises and cloud-based Power BI environments, aligned with established IT Service Management processes.Key Responsibilities:Implement, configure, and provide operational support for Microsoft Power BI solutions.Develop, document, and train users on Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service.Ensure alignment with IT Service Management processes.Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, including incident, problem, change, and service request fulfilment.Skills & RequirementsSecurity Clearance: Must hold a NATO SECRET Security Clearance.Minimum of 5 years in consultancy roles on large implementation projects, with strong knowledge of Power BI and DWH architecture.Proven experience in installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Power BI Report Server, along with experience in MS SQL Server (2014 and higher) and Oracle databases.Prior experience in Agile development methodologies.Skilled in developing complex SQL queries, ETL, data modelling, and design, including star/snowflake schemas.analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle complex data sets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage projects effectively.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to leverage their expertise in a challenging and high-profile setting.
