This role combines technical expertise in data modelling and visualisation with leadership skills to guide a team of BI developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in Power BI, data integration, and analytics, as well as the ability to mentor and inspire ateam.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of Power BI developers, providing technical guidance andfostering professional growthCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand dataneeds, and translate business objectives into actionable BI solutions.Design, develop, deploy and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and datamodels using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, cloud platforms, APIs, ADO) andensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.Optimize performance of BI solutions, including data models, DAX queries, andreport rendering for scalability and responsiveness.Establish and enforce best practices for data visualization, report design, anddocumentation within the BI team.Provide end-user training and support, troubleshooting issues and ensuringadoption of BI solutions across the organization.Stay current with Power BI features and industry trends, proactivelyrecommending enhancements and new capabilities.Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standardsSkills and Attributes: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, orrelated field.10 years of relevant work experience with 5 years experience in Power BIdevelopment, including dashboard/report creation, DAX, and Power Query.Proven experience leading BI or analytics teams.Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating data fromdiverse sources.Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, and other data management tools.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with bothtechnical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and deployment bestpractices.
