Power BI Developer

We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Power BI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for design, developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that meet business needs and provide actionable insights across business functions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to optimize and automate processes and integrate systems to enhance operational efficiency.What you doDesign, customize and optimize Power BI Reports to align with business needs.Ensuring data quality, consistency, data accuracy and performance of reports across various datasets.Develop and optimize DAX queries.Design and implement efficient semantic models, including star/snowflake schemas, calculated measures, and relationships.Design and implementation of Databases, Data Warehouses.Design, develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes (e.g., SSIS or equivalent tools).Maintaining documentation of reports, data flows, and data models.Translate business requirements into specifications.Exploring BI and Analytics market trends, sharing knowledge with the team, and discovering opportunities to strengthen BI capabilities.What is your experienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.2+ years of experience Power BI development including dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualization3+ years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).2+ years of experience working with Integration Services (SSIS) or similar ETL tools. Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Additional Skills to be considered as advantagesFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies is a plus.Microsoft Power Platform or any additional MS Certification.Data Science fundamentals and familiarity with common tools (Python, R, DataBricks, etc).Experience with SharePoint lists and libraries.
