Wireman’s License. Minimum of 3 years’ post-trade experience in construction, plant, or industrial environments. Sound knowledge of SANS electrical codes and regulations. Capable of working independently and issuing CoCs. Valid driver’s license. Strong safety orientation and attention to detail. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, plug points and lighting systems in compliance with SANS regulations.

Fault-find and repair fixed electrical systems at workshops, depots and site accommodation units. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and inspections of electrical installations. Perform electrical upgrades and ensure safe integration with generators, backup systems and temporary site setups. Supervise assistants or apprentices, ensuring quality of work and safety adherence. Monitor and report on electrical faults, maintenance needs and material requirements. Comply with all company and legislative SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) requirements.
