Dialog Network Services (Private) Limited (DNS), is a fully owned subsidiary of Dialog Axiata PLC. DNS focuses on providing best in class network operations and development services to enable multi-sensory digital connectivity to drive empowerment and enrichment of Sri Lankan lives and enterprises.The JobAccountable for network operational activities to ensure the achievement of network KPIs while placing the optimized model in all aspect. (Cost / efficiency / effectiveness of action)Accountable for network development activities to ensure the on-location support regarding power related network development tasks. (New sites/ Power infrastructure upgrades)Responsible on healthy operation & maintenance of power assets within operational boundary. (Generator/ Cooling Systems/ Rectifier & Battery coupled DC Systems/ Electrical & Earthing/ Commercial power/ Solar power)Responsible to maintain, update and critically study network data (Break down/ Alarm / Quality issues/ customer issues) and be ready to dispatch information at any given time.Develop proposals for identified improvement areas in consult with the experts based on the issue criticality, customer impact and site category.Leading operational projects & bring power solutions to the table for the improvement of network operational efficiency.Ensure accessibility to all systems used in the network for various operational matters (Online tracking system / planned network outage & etc.)Plan and develop appropriate communication plan with all stakeholders to effective coordination and maintenance of issues.Maintain an appropriate balance of effort between planned, preventative, performance and emergency maintenance activities to establish the correct balance between risk, quality and affordability.Develop and maintain close relationship with Network Operations Centre/ Operations and maintenance center - radio (OMCR) and other Operation staff (Transmission, Internet protocol) to get assistance on operational matters.Ensure optimized spare distribution among depots on regular frequency to support operational achievements and continuously striving to maintain same.Take necessary action to avoid repetition of faults, consult Regional Manager (RM), Power Operation team and vendor as and when required. Maintain responsible operational issue list and follow up using agreed format on a daily basis to track the progress and escalated to next level where ever support is required.Ensure compliance with health & safety and other relevant legislation and maintaining all statutory testing, inspection and records of specified tools and equipment.Identify areas for improvement & cost reductions and establish cost efficient process & methodologies to perform regional activities.Leading and directing the staff to deliver high level of performance by conducting periodic review of their performance and provide feedback for improvement.Prepare and circulate regular reports on time.Analyzing network operational data integrated with latest analytical tools combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and suggestions for improvement decisions.The Person.BSc in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university accredited by IESLPosses strong analytical skills Should be a result oriented team player Quick & correct decision making skills
