The opportunityThe Global Power+ Graduate Program is our flagship early career rotational program. It is available in 13 countries. This opportunity exposes high-potential graduates to different roles and experiences across various Business Units and Functions within Hitachi Energy. The program offers a unique learning and career development experience; it will take you across (3) six-month long rotations (18 months in total). The second rotation may be done abroad, depending on your chosen project and the availability of business opportunities.Focused on projects that broaden your skillset, each rotation will be within a different segment of our business, which you will be able to choose yourself. You will join us as a full-time employee, and from day one in the program, you will be in the driver’s seat of your career. The Power+ Graduate Program is perfect if you are looking to fast-track your leadership potential and gain a well-rounded business understanding that will enable you to step into professional life.How You’ll Make An ImpactFeatured Assignments: quality engineering, software engineering, consulting, sales, manufacturing operations, project engineering, project management, R&D, and many moreExplore your interests through challenging and impactful projects where you are fully integrated into the teamActively participate in the graduate community with program participants from all the graduate program locationsDevelop your strengths with the help of regular feedback on your performance and clearly established performance objectivesActively contribute to diverse networking sessions across the organization with high exposure to middle and upper managementYour backgroundMaster’s degree in engineering within STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Math) related degrees, e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, industrial engineering, energy systems engineering, physics, computer science, or a related disciplineNo more than 2 years of professional experience within your field of studies by the start dateExcellent knowledge of English; German and additional languages are considered as an advantageValid work permit to work in SwitzerlandGreat collaboration skills and intercultural sensitivityA high level of drive and personal ownership with a genuine interest in making the future of energy more sustainable.More About UsThe program's start date is 1st April 2026. The position will be open for applications until 31st October 2025. You will receive information about the time plan for the continued process in the notification after the first selection round. The date for the assessment center, which is the final step of the recruitment process, is planned to take place in the first week of December 2025.
