PR Manager (Marketing) Reports to: Associate Marketing DirectorLeads: PR Officer, PR agency, Creator Rosters, PR vendorsKey partners: IMC, Brand, Digital, Media, CRM, Community, Retail, Legal, ServiceRole OverviewCreate and own the integrated PR strategy across publicity, media relations, influencer, and content creator programs that shifts brand perception, earns quality coverage, and builds preference for OPPO Philippines.Lead OPPO Philippines’ public relations to build preference, protect reputation, and shift perception through proof-led storytelling.Own strategy, Media Relations, Influencer and Content Creator Relations, execution, and measurement across earned media, creators, and issues management.Manage the PR agency and internal partners to deliver quantified outcomes.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategy and PlanningBuild a month PR strategy for brand and product campaigns.Own the PR calendar across launches, sustaining beats, partnerships, CSR, and corporate.Media RelationsDevelop and maintain relationships across tech, business, lifestyle.Monitor coverage quality and message penetration; enforce factual corrections and align on holding lines in issues.Influencer and Content Creator RelationsBuild rosters that meet reach, engagement, audience quality, and brand-safety thresholds.Develop creative briefs with replicable tests, disclosure requirements, and delivery timelines with agency.Govern content QA, whitelisting permissions, and performance tracking; optimize continuity programs for high performers.Design influencer and creator prompts that educate, not hype.Earned programs and partnershipsConvert perception pillars into editorial packages, expert panels, and proof challenges.Integrate cultural and institutional partners, focusing on credible proof.Issues and reputationMaintain issue trees, holding lines, escalation flows.Lead rapid response with verifiable evidence and third-party references.Measurement and reportingDevelop a weekly dashboard: sentiment, narrative share, completion rates, save/share, coverage quality index.Run pre/post studies or pulse surveys to quantify perception shifts; translate insights into next actions.Team, Agency, and Budget managementSet quarterly OKRs for staff/agency; run WBRs/QBRs with scorecards.Own PR budget; forecast, track, and optimize ROI by narrative, format, and partner.Job Qualifications; 4–7 years in PR/communications (agency + in-house), with 2+ years leading teams.Track record driving perception change or reputation programs with quantified outcomes.Strong writing/editing; comfortable as spokesperson if required.Consumer tech or adjacent lifestyle experience preferred.Tools: social listening, media databases, newsroom CMS, and analytics.Success DefinitionIntegrated PR strategy that aligns publicity, media, and KOL programs to clear perception-shift objectives.Perception shift on priority narratives, reflected in measurable sentiment improvement and stronger media narratives.Proof-led narratives that convert product truths into credible stories across media, influencers, and creatorsCreator penetration that counters echo chambers with replicable tests.Tight governance on calendars, budgets, and actionable reporting.
