Practical Trainee

Internship (6 months) — Audio DevelopmentIn our Research and Development (R&D) group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals, including hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.During your internship in R&D, you will contribute to the functional development of our hearing devices in the Audiology team.Your tasksContribute to development of new test methods to test novel algorithmsPlan and execute audiological studies, including technical measurementsAnalyze results and formulate proposals for implementation in our productsCommunicate results to colleaguesSupport and collaborate closely with audiological researchersYour profile University degree in engineering, computer science, acoustics, or audiologyProficient in:Programming in MATLABUsing (electro)acoustic test and measurement equipmentStatistical data analysis and data visualizationDocumentation and writing reportsAnalytical, independent, and proactiveStrong ability to work in a team Able to work in a collaborative environment with a positive approachGood knowledge of German or EnglishSonova is an equal opportunity employer.We team up.
