Job Description Preferred - Micro Trenching /Trenching ExperienceThe Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazardsAssist crew members with construction work as requiredOperate compressors and missilesInstall pedestals and vaultsLoad, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe mannerDig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earthMix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfacesAssist with the handling and placement of conduit and cablesMaintain equipmentPerform site clean-upComplete all required Company documentationOther duties as assigned Must always comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices while operating equipment according to Pramira’ s safety standards.
QualificationsMust be 18 years old, have a valid driver license with clean driving recordSelf-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructionsDemonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkersMust have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawlFrequently use hand tools, pneumatic tools (tampers, compactors, 60 & 90lb jackhammer, chipping hammer)Must have the ability to assist in the installation of conduit, hand holes, vaults, manholes and cable. Must pass a Drug Test & Background CheckAdditional InformationPay range: $21-$26/hr.
