This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic healthcare organization while managing the essential pre-hire process that protects both our patients and our organization.What You'll DoAs our Pre-Employment Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the complete pre-hire journey from offer acceptance through the employee's first day. Your key responsibilities include:Core ResponsibilitiesManage the full pre-employment process ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on timeCoordinate background checks, drug screenings, and required medical clearances in compliance with company policy and applicable lawsVerify professional licenses, certifications, and credentials through primary source verification methodsMaintain accurate electronic personnel files in our HRIS system, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal recordkeeping requirementsServe as the primary liaison between recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to resolve outstanding requirements and provide status updatesAdditional Key FunctionsReview pre-employment results and escalate exceptions for appropriate reviewTrack and report on pre-employment pipeline metrics, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvementsMaintain onboarding trackers and dashboards to monitor progress and flag missing documentationManage new hire entry and processing in the HRIS system, including documentation verification and workflow initiationSubmit IT requests for hardware/software needs based on role-specific requirementsSupport internal audits and regulatory review preparationWhat We're Looking ForEducation & CertificationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferredExperience RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, credentialing, or complianceHealthcare industry experience strongly preferredMulti-state regulatory experience strongly preferredKnowledge of pre-employment regulations specific to NYSDOH, AHCA (Florida), and GCHEXS (Georgia)Technical SkillsProficiency in UKG or similar HRIS systemsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)Experience with electronic document and signature platformsApplicant tracking system experience preferredEssential QualitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong time management abilities with a high sense of urgencyAbility to handle confidential information with integrity and discretionExcellent communication skills for working with candidates, managers, and external vendorsDeep understanding of background screening, license verification, and employment eligibility requirementsWork EnvironmentThis Is a Fully Remote Position That RequiresA quiet, professional home workspace with reliable high-speed internetExtended computer use and frequent phone/virtual communicationOccasional travel or in-person support at branch locations may be requiredStandard physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and light liftingWhy Join Our Team?Remote flexibility with the stability of a growing healthcare organizationDirect impact on patient safety and organizational complianceProfessional development opportunities in healthcare HR and complianceCollaborative environment working closely with Talent Acquisition and HR teamsGrowth potential within our expanding organizationReady to Apply?If you're detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and passionate about ensuring healthcare organizations maintain the highest standards, we want to hear from you.
