About The OpportunityA fast-growing organisation in the K-12 and early childhood education sector, focused on delivering developmentally appropriate, play-based learning and school-readiness programmes across India. We operate on-site pre-primary centres that prioritise holistic child development—social, emotional, cognitive and motor skills—through structured routines and creative pedagogy. We are hiring an experienced Preschool Teacher to join our in-person teaching teams.Location: India (On-site)Role & ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate pre-primary lessons using play-based methods to build early literacy, numeracy, motor and socio-emotional skills.Implement phonics, storytelling, songs, art and sensory activities that support language development and school-readiness.Observe, document and assess children's developmental milestones; maintain progress records and communicate growth and areas for improvement to parents.Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive and structured classroom routine; apply positive behaviour guidance and classroom management practices.Prepare and maintain learning materials, classroom displays and a hygienic learning environment; follow child-safety and first-aid protocols.Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum coordinators and caregivers to align teaching strategies and support transitions into primary school.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveDiploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or equivalent recognised qualification.Demonstrable experience teaching pre-primary/preschool children in an on-site classroom setting.Practical knowledge of play-based learning, early years curriculum frameworks and phonics instruction.Ability to observe and assess child development and adapt activities to meet varied learning needs.Valid first-aid or child-safety training (or readiness to obtain upon joining).Proficiency in English and the regional/local language to engage effectively with children and parents.PreferredMontessori or other early years pedagogical certification.B.Ed (Pre-Primary) or degree in Early Childhood Development.Experience using digital learning aids and classroom technology for early years instruction.Benefits & Culture HighlightsStructured mentor-driven onboarding and regular professional development for early years educators.Collaborative, child-centric culture with emphasis on teacher autonomy and creative lesson design.Opportunities for career progression within early childhood education and school leadership tracks.We welcome passionate, energetic educators who prioritise child safety, creativity and measurable learning outcomes.
