Location / Shift Ortigast Office, Morning/Mid Shift NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position Key Responsibilities: Drawing and Detailing:Produce detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and production tickets for precast concrete components using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures).Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.Coordination and Collaboration:Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers to interpret design intent and resolve any discrepancies.Coordinate with other trades (e.g., structural steel, MEP) to ensure seamless integration of precast components into the overall project.Modeling and Design:Create 3D models of precast concrete elements (incl reinforcement) to visualize and optimize designs.Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts in the design phase.Quality Assurance:Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and models before submission.Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time.Technical Support:Provide technical support to the production and erection teams during the manufacturing and installation processes.Address and resolve any issues or changes that arise during production or construction.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in precast detailing.Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
