A few responsibilities of the Physician Assistant include but are not limited to:
Obtaining patient information and perform assessmentsOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic proceduresConsult directly with physician to assess the patient's condition and treatment optionsEnsure that medical charts and administrative paperwork is updated/completedProvide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Monitor patients and administers medications according to division policy. The Physician Assistant QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant required. Pennsylvania State license for Physician Assistant required. Graduate of accredited program for Physician Assistant required. Bachelor’s degree required.
Exceptional customer facing verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal constituents. Ability to work well under pressure. Athena or other EMR proficiency highly preferred
