Job Description: Presale Data Engineer (Data Management Platform in Banking)Level: Intermediate/Senior (Senior preferred)Opening: 1Department: DnA (Data and Analytics)Reports to: Head of DepartmentResponsibilities:Conduct presales activities, consult on solutions, and present solutions to clients and partners in workshops.Demonstrate solutions/implement Proof of Concept, helping clients understand solution features.Provide solution support during RFI/RFP processes, write technical proposals for RFPs.Participate in implementation, provide technical support and training to clients.Develop and evolve the data architecture roadmap, aligning with evolving business needs.Design complete analytical data flows, including overall architecture, capabilities, platforms, tools, and governance processes.Create, maintain, and connect current/future strategies for analytical tools/capabilities.Help define/improve best practices, guidelines, and integration between Bank solutions and applications.Monitor technology trends and experiment and evaluate related tools/capabilities.Collaborate with Account Managers (AMs) to identify and develop potential business opportunities and build long-term partnerships with clients.Coordinate with AMs, negotiate, and close contracts with clients.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect, or at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.Deep understanding of data modeling principles for structured and unstructured data, including physical, logical, and conceptual levels.Practical experience implementing data warehouses, understanding of Datawarehouse solutions (e.g., iDecision, SAP, Teradata, Oracle, IBM).Practical experience implementing one of the lakehouse/data platforms solutions (e.g., Cloudera, DataBricks, Hortonwork…).Extensive practical experience in implementing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes, deep understanding of at least one ETL platform (e.g., SAP BODS, Apache Airflow, Informatica, IBM).Deep understanding of data architectures (e.g., OLAP, Data Warehousing, Data Lake, and/or Data Mesh), ability to assess current system capabilities and advanced technologies to propose optimal data architecture solutions.Deep understanding of modeling tools (e.g., Power Designer, SQL Developer Data Modeler, ERwin).Practical experience in designing and building streaming data processing solutions (e.g., using Apache Storm, Kafka, Spark Streaming…).Experience implementing data quality management solutions, including in distributed environments.Experience developing BI tools to serve business requirements is a plus.Understanding of standard financial data models, such as FSLDM, is a plus.Deep understanding of data federated solutions.Deep understanding of MDM solutions.Deep understanding and practical experience of the entire data lifecycle.Understanding of object storage architecture.Fluent in English.Other Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computational Mathematics.
