Role: Presales EngineerLocation: Lekki Phase 1, LagosWork Type: HybridAbout the RoleOur client, a leading Cybersecurity company that operates an in-country, state-of-the-art, ISO certified security operations center (iSOC) is looking for a Presales Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospects and clients during the sales cycle, providing deep technical insight, demonstrating product capabilities, and tailoring solutions to meet specific customer requirements. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, excellent communication skills, and relevant technical certifications. Key Responsibilities To attend meetings with potential clients (various countries) to determine technical and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.Partner with account executives throughout the sales cycle as the primary presales resource, providing deep product expertise and technical solution guidance in a professional manner and agreed timeframes.Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally, conduct technical discovery sessions to understand client requirements, integration needs and business objectives.Design and present tailored product demonstrations and tailored solutions that address specific client pain points and use cases to channel partners and internal stakeholders.Create internal design configuration documentation including network diagrams with technical explanations.Support RFP/bid on a technical level to support sales process, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with standardsFoster strong relationships with prospects and customers, ensuring technical satisfaction throughout the presales process.Perform technical development for bespoke solutions as part of a design and development framework.Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer; design and articulate solution architectures that address customer pain points.Provide accurate and timely management information, including activity reports, bid reviews, and project forecasts.Structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients.Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery.Ability to demonstrate CyberSOC products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge.Stay current on cybersecurity trends and technologies, best practices and competitor offerings.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field5+ years relevant experience in Presales, Sales Engineering, technical consulting or solution architecture (preferably in Cybersecurity).Strong knowledge of security products (SIEM, EDR, IAM, Firewalls).Experience working with Enterprise customers.Demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions and communicate value effectively.Familiarity with compliance frameworks and best practices for data security and privacyExcellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills: able to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, critical thinking and adaptability skills.Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teamsRelevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.How to ApplySend your CV to thiaconsulting@gmail.com with the Job title "Presales Engineer" as the subject.https://forms.gle/coEJoGUqgbwFmLvHA
